The Antidote to the Big Airport

Allegro Vineyards, located not from from York, Lancaster and the state of Maryland, has a number of exciting events for wine-lovers throughout the summer. The vineyard has been at its current location since 1980. Growing many of the grapes used in their products allows Allegro to concentrate on higher-quality products rather than a higher yield.

The 3,452-acre Codorus State Park is in the rolling hills of southern York County. Lake Marburg, within the park, has 26 miles of shoreline and is a rest stop for migrating waterfowl and shorebirds. The lake is extremely popular with sail and motor-boaters. Anglers enjoy the lake for warm water fishing and can also fish Codorus Creek for trout. If your travels take you to Airville, Pennsylvania, set aside some time to take a step back in time at the Indian Steps Museum. This museum was the brainchild of John Vandersloot. Mr. Vandersloot was a seeking a method by which to share his collection of artifacts with the public, now, ninety-five years later his vision lives on. Come see for yourself!
